Q: What are your rates?
A: We have 3 different DJ packages to choose from, a live party band, acoustic music, ceremony add-ons and even up-lighting to transform your event space. Check out our RATES page for all the details!!
Q: Is a deposit required to secure our event?
A: Yes, to reserve your date a 25% deposit is required along with a signed contract. The remaining balance is due the day of your event.
Q: How far in advance do I need to reserve my event date?
A: The earlier the better! Typically we begin filling our calendars 6 – 9 months in advance. However, we are able to accommodate at least 2 events per date. So please contact us!
Q: Can we be involved in choosing the playlist for the event?
A: Absolutely! With our Gold and Platinum packages you can choose up to 20 specific songs for your event. And of course with all DJ packages you choose the music played for any special moment (Bride/Groom first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance,etc.). You can also select your playlist by genre: Top 40, R&B, Country, Rock, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, etc. We also have a DO-NOT-PLAY list that you can complete as a part of the Event Information Sheet.
Q: What if we want a D.J. and live music?
A: Top Tier Entertainment provides D.J. services, a full scale live band, and acoustic music. So whether you want non-stop dance music from a DJ, classic hits from a live party band, or tasteful acoustic renditions for your rehearsal dinner or first dances, Top Tier can do it! That’s what makes us special and separate from other company’s, we are not only DJ’s, but musicians too! Check out our ABOUT US page to learn more about Clint and Josh.
Q: What type of events can you accommodate?
A: We specialize in wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, corporate events, mardi gras balls, Christmas parties and sorority or fraternity formals. We use quality, scalable systems…meaning we can handle anything from your backyard BBQ to a school gym to a concert hall!
Q: How can I expect my DJ to be dressed?
A: We take every event very seriously. We are dedicated to maintaining a professional appearance from our equipment all the way down to the clothes that we wear. Typically we are dressed in black pants and dress shirt. Please indicate any special attire requests on your Event Information Sheet.
Q: Do we have to meet in person to finalize the event details, contract or payment?
A: No, most clients communicate through phone, text, and email. The Event Information Sheet can be sent via email and the deposit can be paid by check through mail, PayPal or credit card. However, we are happy to make appointments and meet you in person to go over all the details. Just let us know!
